The 7th Annual North Amherst Harvest Festival is coming up on Sunday, September 23rd from Noon to 5PM (rain or shine)! As always the Harvest Festival will feature fine entertainers, great food, children's games, face painting, hay rides and more. This years entertainment lineup includes the New Growth String Band, Rusty Belle, The Juggler Meadow String Band, Jay Mankita and Yuri Prince of Color.
The Harvest Festival takes place at the North Amherst Community Farm - the home of Simple Gifts Farm - at 1089 N. Pleasant Street in Amherst. Click here for directions. Enter the property via the driveway next to the farmhouse and then follow signs to the parking area and festival site.
NACF would like to thank the local businesses sponsoring the Harvest Festival this year - The Harp, Kraus-Fitch Architects, Singer-Potito Associates, Puffton Village, Stakeholders Capital, Florence Savings Bank and Greenfield Savings Bank. Special thanks to Amherst Community Connections, our partner in providing delicious local food for the festival.
Volunteers needed to help with the Harvest Festival!
Volunteering to help with the Festival is a fun way to get involved! More than ever, we need volunteers (at least 120), prior to, on that day and after to make this a successful event. If we get more than enough we can shorten the 3 hour shifts. For those of you who volunteered last year, again, many thanks. We hope you'll consider doing it again this year!
SignUpGenius will allow you to sign up for the activity and times of your choice. We will do my best to get you what you want!
